Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or burned out? You may find yourself overthinking everything, struggling with anxiety, or feeling disconnected from the life you want to live. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone- and therapy with me can help. Therapy can help you slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, develop tools to manage anxiety or stress, and build confidence and emotional resilience. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work/school stress, or trauma, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who tailors my approach to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals, using evidence-based practices. Some of the techniques I use are Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Techniques, Mindfulness-based strategies, Schematic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin—just a willingness to show up for yourself. I currently offer same-week appointments and accept most health insurance plans. If you're curious about working together, feel free to reach out for a free consultation. We can talk about what's going on and see if it feels like a right fit.

Hi, I’m Sahar.

I’m a clinical social worker dedicated to helping young adults navigate the challenges of stress, depression, and anxiety in today’s fast-paced world. I understand how overwhelming life can feel, and my goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can share your story, explore your emotions, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including active listening, motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I tailor each session to your unique experiences and needs, because therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about building resilience, developing self-awareness, and gaining the confidence to face life with clarity and strength.

From our very first session, I want you to feel heard, supported, and understood. Together, we’ll focus on setting goals that matter to you, building trust, and finding practical strategies that truly help. By the end of our work together, my hope is that you’ll not only have new coping tools, but also feel like you’ve gained a trusted ally.

Let’s take this journey together.

Panic attacks are the worst. One moment you feel "fine" & the next you're freaking out! Do you deal with stress, anxiety, & panic? Are you sensitive to all the dysfunction & pain in the world? Does it feel like sometimes you are full of hope & other times you’re totally hopeless? It can be so confusing & leave you feeling more stress & frustration. Are you coping in unhealthy ways just to get by? Like overindulging to distract or avoid the anxious thoughts and feelings? Maybe you’re tired of being stuck in this loop. You want to focus on thriving, not just surviving.

I’m Kristen & anxiety is my superpower. I’m a therapist who GETS IT because I’ve lived it. I’m on a mission to help people overcome panic attacks & anxiety. Therapy with me is focused on real life. It’s a space to talk about what’s going on and be honest - no BS. I’m not someone who is going to tell you to go read a book. I’ll teach you exactly what to do.

Are you ready to say goodbye to overwhelm? Can you imagine what it would be like to feel more calm than chaos, & more control of your emotions? You can feel more confident about your ability to handle panic attacks and the hard things of life. More peace & relief are right around the corner. Let’s get there together.

Kelly Henson, MA, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

With 17 years of clinical experience, I am well prepared to treat a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, life changes, and more. I provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy that can help clients overcome trauma.

I I like to meet my clients where they are. By thorough consideration of the client’s thoughts, feelings, motives, and behaviors, I can get a better understanding of what areas of life they might benefit from improving. Therapy is a team effort and I like to collaborate with my clients to find what strategies work for them. I value honesty and respect above all and I believe that commitment creates a safe, welcoming place where growth can occur.

As a school social worker with over 25 years of diverse experience, I specialize in helping children and adolescents in my practice. However, I am still just as interested in helping adults reach their full potential.

My main objective is to help my clients recognize barriers standing in the way of their goals and assist in removing them. Whether those barriers have to do with communication, personal trauma, relationships, anxiety, depression, etc., I will help you to build your skills and confidence. I am a firm believer in collaboration and inclusion of all parties involved, so rest assured your thoughts and feelings will be valued and respected in our therapeutic journey together.
